Emma LaBarbera is an Italian-American artist born (1997) and bred in New York, USA. Traveling nationally and internationally for schooling, work, and personal exploration, Emma is inspired by observing the way life—in its many forms—relates to itself.

Emma finds connection in work that beholds the stories of others and by recounting her own. Her greatest strength lies in using her voice (i.e. writing, speaking, and singing), but utilizes other forms of art, music, and movement to help unravel and reveal what’s in her heart at its purest level. Emma’s artistic impact is therapeutic, both in creation and consumption. Having graduated with a degree in Psychology, Emma aims for her work to be a place of refuge for those processing difficult or complex emotional experiences, existential or spiritual questioning, psychological exploration, and more.

She runs a Substack, “Emma’s Room”, and a podcast, “Coming Up For Air”, where you can interact with what she is currently creating.
